im posting this pretty late cause ive been busy all day. its currently 12:40 am here and i honestly dont know what im thinking! actually im thinking that i'd be disappointed not to have posted and skipped a day. so here i am :)

today was as normal- was in class from 9:30-4:40
then i got on the metro to meet my peer tutor. she showed me this place EXACTLY like gelato in Ocean City...so it felt like home <3 made me miss it! but it was a really cute cafe- we ordered sat down and they brought out our ice cream in little martini glasses..i got the flavors ferro rocher and mint..OH and they had a carrot ice cream flavor which sounded gross but the lady insisted that i sample it so i did and it really was yummy.
the weather today turned out to be quite nice. sunny and warm.. it was beautiful and i appreciated it!
after i got back from my meeting with Vasa Peter and i went to the awesome store here..well its actually the best store here and i finally bought my blow dryer! i also got some type of cookies that were good.when we were checking out the lady said something to me about the blow dryer and i gave her the blankest look ever. wish you guys could have seen it. but really, i wanna be like "im sorry i dont understand" which i know how to say in russian im just sick of saying it! haha then we walked back to the dorm and went to get my laptop to try to see if it would work in the cafe across the street but im still having issues. oh i also had espresso at the cafe and this was at like 11 so thats why im still awake right now lol
i just made lousy pasta tonight.. but it was still good. i cant wait for you guys to see some of the things im eating :)
oh! cousin patrick! i thought of you today when i saw a woman smoking a really long thin cigarette! hahahahahah
im pretty sure thats all i have for now.. we're going on a long excursion tomorrow to павловск (pavlovsk) its supposed to be beautiful there so im excited . hope its not too cold and rainy

I just took my last three finals today, and I'm leaving on Sunday for the Bahamas. We'll both be in different countries! Of course, your being in Russia is WAY freakin' cooler. Cannot wait to see more pictures. I'm going to have to catch up on a whole week of your blog when I get back! What is the place you're going to tomorrow? Another palace?

ReplyDeleteLoved talking to you but G is right you probably didn't sleep all night with the caffeine, UGH I would be in the ER if I did that. I wasat work with Steve and we looked for todays blog and I got worried when I didn't see anything. I was relieved but feel so bad you stayed up to do it. Hope you have a great time tomorrow. Everything looks so beautiful and Laura is right you do look HAPPY and that makes me happy.
Today was another busy day for me but what else is new. I think I am making myself extra busy so I do not worry and miss you too much even though I do anyway. Tomorrow is Friday and you get to open your first card. Hope you enjoy it. Mark and Frank are both working tomorrow. and I am soooooooooo happy it is Friday. I will call you on Saturday.
